What is a Yarn and Fiber Crawl?
Imagine a pub crawl or a road trip, but with your best fiber friends! The Yarn and Fiber Crawl is an event that focuses on exploring various fiber-themed locations within a specific region over a designated time period. We're delighted to expand our fiber trail, inviting more participants from across the Bluegrass to showcase their shops, farms, and studios, and highlight what makes the Kentucky Fiber Trail truly exceptional. This Bluegrass Fiber Crawl is proudly hosted by The Kentucky Fiber Trail—an ongoing endeavor to connect and promote wool and fiber producers, artisans, retail locations, agritourism spots, and events.
Planning Your Adventure
Each location on the trail will establish their own operating hours throughout the 9-day crawl, so make sure to visit our interactive crawl map and plan your trip accordingly. You can click the image of map shown below to visit our interactive map. So whether you choose to participate for a single day or the entire duration, there's something for everyone. Please be aware that each location, especially our farms, has its own visitor safety regulations, biosecurity restrictions, and specific rules to maintain on their premises. We kindly request your cooperation in honoring these guidelines to ensure a pleasant experience for all.
Collect Your Passport and Win Prizes
Prepare your plans, print out your passport, and get ready to explore! As you visit different locations, have your passport signed and stamped, capturing memories of your exciting journey. Don't forget to take pictures along the way, as they could win you fabulous prizes and entries into special drawings.
